When he got to the part about tread, I realize the penny tread depth check shouldn’t apply to winter tires, because even a tad bit worn with tread left, it’ll already make a difference.

He’s one of my favorite Youtubers.

his off road reviews are pretty bad but otherwise he’s excellent

On the subject of car reviews, I’m not sure if it’s a “got used to” thing, but I don’t really like the newer Saabkyle09 videos where he starts videotaping himself.
Nothing against him as a person, but the selling point of the older videos was that it was the “driver seat of YouTube”, so everything was first person, it feels like you’re getting into the car and walking through it. Now with him standing around filming, it looks like those dealership videos with the sales guy going jibber jabber.

I honestly don’t watch his reviews that much, I like the stuff where he explains things.

You want a winter tire with sipes, if you’re looking to protect your family.

I think the sipes are pretty much the standard pattern for winter tires, I don’t think I’ve seen any without.
